Generally, the society depends on food, clothing and wood which are derived Products of Natural Resources for variety of uses. With current consumers concern, the thrust is now on the use of natural environmental components for effective management of the natural resources of plant and animal origin to increase their shelf-life and durability.

O. Odeyemi, Olusola Olusola O. Odeyemi has been a Professor of Applied Entomology in the Department of Biology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria since 2002. She obtained her B.Sc, M. Sc and later Ph.D degree in Zoology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her Areas of interest : Environmental Biology; Applied Entomology; Ecology; Product Protection.
