Even Christ, Himself, was born within the context of family; God in the flesh, submitted to an earthly mother and father to model what it means to honor parents, and to benefit from their loving direction. It was within the nurturing care of His earthly family, that He grew in wisdom and stature, and in the favor of God and men. Therefore, count it not strange that you were placed in your particular family, and it does not matter if you are from the family of Johns or another... you need to know that what reveals the most about God than anything else, is when He made something called "Family."
