This book may not appeal to non-believers. I actually believe that non-believers would strongly disagree with some of the contents of this book. It would be perfectly appropriate for them to act that way because they are not of the same faith as the author.

The main argument of this book is that genuine success begins with surrendering to the One who created everything, including the one who seeks to be successful. Again, many would violently disagree with this - that's the beauty of freedom and choice.

Friedrich Schleiermacher (1768-1834) had a unique ability to enthrall his contemporaries from the pulpit. This volume of the Complete Critical Edition contains sermons for 106 dates from the years 1820 and 1821, including 60 sermons that were completely unknown until now.
