In "Apocalypse Revealed," Swedish scientist-turned-seer Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) takes the reader verse by verse through the Book of Revelation, explaining the spiritual meaning behind the literal words of the biblical text. The first volume deals specifically with Revelation 14-22. Interwoven through the text are "memorable relations," Swedenborg's accounts of his visionary experiences in heaven and hell; at the end of this volume is a synopsis of all the memorable relations in the text.

This edition is a reprint, with revisions, of a 1928 translation by John Whitehead.
