One Leaf Shaking is the first collection of Robin Skelton s later poetry written and compiled during the 1980s when he was both at the apex of his career and revered for his standing in academic circles. Poems included in this volume are taken from four titles previously published by Sono Nis, Oolichan and Porcupine s Quill"Landmarks, Limits, Distances and Opening"and attests to his incredible range and prolific talent. The work also includes verse that comprised two chapbooks, "Words for Witches" and "De Nihilio," and seventeen previously unpublished poems.
