This is a work in three parts. The first being a series of poems titled The heart. These pieces are short blurbs of life experiences. They are based in "fact-tion," and range in topic from love to politics to ego's run amuck.

A group of interesting people living around a lovely lake in the Sierra foothills of California form a storytelling circle. They meet monthly at different mountain homes and have different narrators telling stories, some about themselves, some made-up, short, long, funny, serious, sad or happy.
