This book examines the participation of psychology as a science and profession, and psychologists as scientists and professionals, in debates about social policy planning. The test is divided into three major areas - international issues, domestic policies, and criminal justice - which are themselves comprised of several topics. Each topic is discussed in two chapters by authors who hold opposing viewpoints as to the validity of that subject's existing scientific data.
