This volume is intended to be both a catalogue for the special exhibit that will mark the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Harvard-Yenching Institute's founding and also a set of studies highlighting areas of the Harvard Yenching Library's collections. The eleven essays range from general survey's of the Library's resources in particular to studies based on the Library's holdings on particular subkjects.
