After 1945, Hans Purrmann promoted the reawakening art and cultural life of the Palatinate with great commitment. One of his important contacts was the SPD politician and managing director of the Palatinate Secession, Willibald Ganger. Their correspondence, dating from 1950-1960, is now available for the first time.
