In his best known installation, Tube, New York-based Lithuanian artist Zilvinas Kempinas (born 1969) generates maximal sensory impressions with minimal means. Horizontally stretched videotapes create the perspective of a tunnel, creating an evocative and dynamic optical experience for the viewer.
