This book is devoted to the fundamental problems of investigation of free concentrated vortices. The possibilities of mathematical modelling of whirlwinds (tornadoes) are discussed; it states and solves, for the first time the problem of physical (laboratory) modelling of whirlwinds without using mechanical whirling devices.
