On August 23rd 2014, poets and writers from around the world got up at odd hours and stayed up for 12 or 24 hours. During that period of time they wrote a poem every hour and published it within that hour on the official website. This year a hundred people attempted the whole or half marathon and at least 50 completed one or the other. These people were in England, in India, in Sweden, in Africa, in Lebanon, in the US and Canada, and in many other countries.
