This book describes a research in which the transcriptional regulatory sequences of telomerase catalytic subunit (hTERT) and RNA subunit (hTER) were used to induce killing of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Telomerase plays an important role in cellular immortalization and carcinogenesis.
