Hematuria either gross or microscopic can be caused by various causes. Radiological imaging plays a major role in diagnosing the cause for hematuria. In past, one or combination of several techniques was used to evaluate hematuria but recently advances in CT urography alone solve the purpose. Here, we want to emphasize the role of CT urography in evaluation of gross hematuria. CT urography protocol with various phases permits evaluation of hematuria with a single examination. This book briefly reviews the common causes of gross hematuria in adults and their evaluation with CT scan urography.
