This study aimed to determine the chemical constituents, toxicity, antioxidant potential and larvicidal activity of the essential oil of Aniba rosaeodora Ducke against larvae of Aedes aegypti. The main chemical constituent found in the EO of A. rosaeodora was beta-linalool 63.16%, being considered great promising for pharmaceutical synthesis. In the toxicity assay, LC50 ranged from 582 mg L-1 to 282 mgL-1and was classified as non-toxic. The EO showed larvicidal activity with LC50 of 41.07 mgL-1 and relevant antioxidant activity. According to the results found, it was possible to evaluate that...

This study aimed to evaluate the larvicidal activity of essential oil (EO) and nanoemulsion (O/A) of Coleus aromaticus Benth (coarse mint) leaves. In the total phenolic assay, the value of 350.86 mg EAT g-1 was quantified, being a significant result for the presence of the class in the essential oil. In the antioxidant activity assay, the IC50 of 195.39 mg L-1 was obtained for the action of C. aromaticus being classified as promising. The action of the EO as larvicidal was observed and the LC50 of 3.24 mg L-1 was determined, while for nanoemulsion a higher action was observed at 1.83 mg L-1....

This study aimed to determine the total phenolics, evaluate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, and the toxicity of nanoemulsions (O/W) and essential oils (EOs) from Salvia Rosmarinus (rosemary). GC/MS quantified 1,8-cineole (30.22%), alpha-pinene (22.14%), camphor (18.33%) and camphene (10.36%) as major components of EO. The EO CFT was quantified at 26.74 mg EAT g -1 and the refractive index at 1.466 nD 25°. In the antioxidant activity assay, an EC 50 of 80.33 mgL -1 was obtained for the EO and 19.56 to 408.85 mg L -1 for the nanoemulsions. In the anti-inflammatory activity...
