In this work, initially it was decided to carry out a survey to verify the implementation, usage & acceptance of MIS in 350 industries (200 small scale, 100 medium scale and 50 large scale). The study reveals that only 96 (46%) out of 200 small scale industries, as many as 73 (73%) out of 100 medium scale industries & as high as 46 (98%) out of 50 large scale industries were using MIS.
