The aim of this study is to assess the spatial distribution of total organic carbon (TOC) content and stock in two agricultural plots located in El Krib (north-west Tunisia), farmed using conventional and no-till methods respectively. Following a literature review on soil degradation issues and sustainable farming practices, the study was based on physico-chemical soil analyses (pH, conductivity, phosphorus, exchangeable bases, TOC) and spatial modeling of TOC stocks. The results show that no-till favors better preservation of organic carbon in the soil, compared with conventional tillage....
