Das Buch befasst sich mit dem potenziellen Einsatz von Nanotechnologien in der Agrarwirtschaft und weckt große Zweifel an den tatsächlichen Vorteilen oder Nachteilen der Einführung dieser Innovation. Daher ist es das Anliegen dieser Untersuchung, die Humanwissenschaften in die Debatten über die Verbreitung der Nanotechnologien einzubeziehen. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass sich die technisch-wissenschaftliche Informationsdichte im brasilianischen Agrarraum mit der effektiven Einführung neuer nanotechnologischer Produkte und Prozesse vertiefen wird.

Le livre traite des utilisations potentielles des nanotechnologies dans l'agro-industrie et soulève d'énormes doutes quant aux avantages ou aux inconvénients réels de l'adoption de cette innovation. D'où le souci de cette recherche d'inclure les sciences humaines dans les débats sur la diffusion des nanotechnologies. On suppose que, compte tenu de l'incorporation effective de nouveaux produits et processus nanotechnologiques, il y aura un approfondissement des densités techniques-scientifiques-informationnelles dans l'espace agraire brésilien.

The book deals with the potential uses of nanotechnologies in agribusiness and raises huge doubts about the real benefits or harms of adopting this innovation. Hence the concern of this research to include the human sciences in debates on the spread of nanotechnologies. It is assumed that, given the effective incorporation of new nanotechnological products and processes, there will be a deepening of the technical-scientific-informational densities in the Brazilian agrarian space.
