The aim of this work is to study the transformation of the character's consciousness in Michel Butor's Modification from a semiotic perspective. The aim is to retrace the subject's pragmatic, cognitive and passionate journeys in order to gain a better understanding of the shifting nature of his consciousness during his journey from Paris to Rome. The work also looks at the aesthetic question of the text accompanying the transformation of the subject's consciousness.

In dieser Arbeit soll die Veränderung des Bewusstseins der Figur in Michel Butors La Modification aus einer semiotischen Perspektive untersucht werden. Es geht darum, die pragmatischen, kognitiven und leidenschaftlichen Wege des Protagonisten nachzuvollziehen, um die Fluktuation seines Bewusstseins während seiner Reise von Paris nach Rom besser zu verstehen. Diese Arbeit befasst sich auch mit der ästhetischen Frage des Textes, der die Veränderung des Bewusstseins des Subjekts begleitet.
