Das Buch basiert auf der Untersuchung der Leistung verschiedener Tragflächenformen bei unterschiedlichen Anstellwinkeln durch die Durchführung numerischer Untersuchungen. Die Leistung der Tragflächenformen wurde anhand des Kriteriums der Auftriebskrafterzeugung bewertet, da die Tragflächen so gestaltet sind, dass sie ein Maximum an Auftrieb erzeugen. Verschiedene Diagramme wie Geschwindigkeitskonturen, Auftriebs- und Widerstandskoeffizient in Abhängigkeit von den verschiedenen Anstellwinkeln wurden ebenfalls aufgezeichnet, um die Leistung der verschiedenen Tragflächenformen zu bewerten.

The book is founded on investigating the performance of different aerofoil shapes at varying angles of attack by conducting numerical investigation. The performance of the aerofoil shapes has been evaluated on the basis of the criterion of lift force generation as the aerofoils are designed in such a way that they generate maximum amount of lift. Different plots such as velocity contours and coefficient of lift and coefficient of drag versus different angles of attack have also been plotted for assessing the performance of different aerofoil shapes.

The work presented in the book deals with design analysis and material selection for the retractable shield by considering the stress-induced and deformation under controlled conditions of the working environment. Weight and mobility of the shield are also considered as prime factors while carrying out the analysis. A comparison among different shield materials is carried out and the selection of suitable material is based on the basis of numerical analysis.
