The web documentary attempts to fully exploit the possibilities that the internet can offer a documentary communication format. The transmedially arranged content can be linked in a non-linear, network-like form and made available to the recipient in an interactive way. Compared to traditional documentary formats, the characteristics of transmediality, interactivity and non-linearity change the form of the content and its structure.
