Earthquakes pose a significant risk in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's eastern provinces. Several earthquakes (M>=6) resulted in fatalities and property damage. Based on the GEM-SSA catalogue and a new seismic model, this book provides an updated comprehensive treatment of seismic hazard assessment.
