Studies on Physico-chemical changes during growth and development of ber (Ziziphus mauritiana Lamk.) fruit cv. " Narendra Ber Selection- 2" comprised of three sets of experiments. Under first experiment pattern of physical changes in ber fruits after fruit setting till maturity were recorded. Under second experiment biochemical constituents of fruits at different stages of growth and development were analyzed. However, in third experiment maturity indices of ber fruits at right stage for its harvesting were determined.

The investigation comprised of three sets of experiments. Under first experiment chemical attributes of mango pulp, citrus (kagzi lime juice), Aloe vera gel and ginger juice were studied. Under second experiment the blends of mango pulp, kagzi lime juice, Aloe vera gel and ginger juice were screened for the preparation of palatable quality RTS, squash and syrup, whereas in third experiment, changes in RTS, squash and syrup filled into both glass and polypet bottles were studied during storage at monthly intervals to assess the storability of the products.

Studien über physikalisch-chemische Veränderungen während des Wachstums und der Entwicklung von Beerenfrüchten(Ziziphus mauritiana Lamk.) cv. " Narendra Ber Selection- 2" umfasste drei Versuchsreihen. Im ersten Versuch wurden die physischen Veränderungen der Beerenfrüchte nach dem Fruchtansatz bis zur Reife erfasst. Im zweiten Versuch wurden die biochemischen Inhaltsstoffe der Früchte in verschiedenen Wachstums- und Entwicklungsstadien analysiert. Im dritten Versuch wurden die Reifeindizes der Beerenfrüchte im richtigen Stadium für die Ernte bestimmt.
