The aim of this book is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the currently debated topic of remunicipalisation. In particular, it examines the arguments for and against the provision of goods and services of general interest by the state or private entities, especially in light of the long-standing trend towards privatisation and liberalisation. A further step is to ask to what extent the current trends towards remunicipalisation can be understood as a reversal of the trend and whether this can be empirically proven.

L'objectif de cet ouvrage est de fournir une analyse complète du thème actuellement débattu de la remunicipalisation.
