This piece of work is focused on the concept of glide path that was introduced to prevent the risk of instrument fracture. It is the starting point of radicular preparations. Without it, cleaning and shaping becomes unpredictable or impossible because there is no guide for endodontic mechanics.The Glide path is necessary for quality control. Sustainable excellent endodontic obturation are not possible without it.
