Die vorliegende Arbeit hat zum Ziel, die Auswirkungen eines Ausbauprojekts eines Containerterminals im Hafen von Rio de Janeiro aus technischer und finanzieller Sicht zu bewerten. Anhand eines Simulationsmodells lässt sich überprüfen, wie sich die Warteschlangen der Schiffe und die Betriebszeiten mit und ohne Erweiterung in verschiedenen Szenarien des Wirtschaftswachstums verhalten. Damit wird auch die wirtschaftliche Machbarkeit des Projekts in jedem der Szenarien überprüft, was für die Entscheidungsfindung privater Unternehmen von grundlegender Bedeutung ist.

Le présent travail se propose d'évaluer, d'un point de vue technique et financier, les impacts d'un projet d'agrandissement d'un terminal à conteneurs dans le port de Rio de Janeiro. À partir de la construction d'un modèle de simulation, il est possible de vérifier comment les files d'attente des navires et les temps d'opération se comportent avec et sans expansion, dans différents scénarios de croissance économique. Cela permet également de vérifier la viabilité économique du projet dans chacun des scénarios, analyse fondamentale pour la prise de décision des entreprises...

This study aims to evaluate, from a technical and financial perspective, the impacts of an expansion project at a container terminal in the Port of Rio de Janeiro. Based on the construction of a simulation model, it is possible to verify how ship queues and operating times behave with and without expansion, in different economic growth scenarios. This also verifies the economic feasibility of the project in each of the scenarios, which is a fundamental analysis for decision-making by private companies.
