This companion to NVMS Small Animal Internal Medicine presents case studies which feature problems in which the reader must decide what information is needed and what to do. A summary of the optional diagnostic approach, diagnosis and treatment is included. Case studies are similar to the National Board Examination in that they are presented for users to select the specific information on diagnosis tests and treatments. They incorporate a variety of canine and feline species and vary in severity of condition, age, sex, and weight.
