Port Blair, South Andaman, lies within Seismic Zone V and is characterized by active convergence between the Indian and Burmese plates. This study identifies shallow active faults through an integrated analysis of satellite remote sensing and ground magnetic and VLF-EM data. Prominent N-S to NE-SW trending fault zones in the Bathubasthi and Carbyn areas are confirmed by both surface geomorphic indicators and subsurface geophysical signatures, demonstrating the effectiveness of integrated approaches for active fault mapping and seismic hazard assessment in complex tectonic regions.
