This book explores the development and application of a Real-Time Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel Supply System (RTES) for diesel-powered road vehicles. The system produces Water-in-Diesel (W/D) emulsion fuel instantly without using surfactants, reducing cost and complexity. RTES was tested on a 1-ton light-duty diesel truck through chassis dynamometer and on-road experiments to evaluate emissions and fuel performance. Results showed the optimal water content for both low- and high-grade diesel fuels was 6.5%, with the best operating speed at 52 km/h. Urban low-speed driving proved less suitable...
