Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disease that requires effective and sustained treatments. Interleukin 17 inhibitors, such as secukinumab and ixekizumab, have shown high efficacy in moderate-severe psoriasis, although there may be differences in their therapeutic persistence, understood as the time that a patient maintains treatment without discontinuing it.
