This monograph shows great interest in the use of non-traditional forms of energy throughout the world. Energy sources based on non-traditional and renewable technologies are environmentally friendly because they do not emit pollutants into the atmosphere. In the conditions of Uzbekistan, the use of small hydroelectric power plants, solar, wind, biomass and geothermal energy resources is relevant. In addition, renewable energy sources may be the only cost-effective, easily accessible source of energy for remote, mountainous and remote areas far from existing energy sources.
