An extensive photometric study of the cluster to determine the cluster reddening, distance, age and metallicity has been done among stars of magnitude 18 (bright stars). Stars of magnitude > 18 (faint stars) were left out hence creating a gap in the membership of NGC 6811 (Curtis et al. 2019). Thus the problem addressed was that the number of known faint binary stars with d scuti component in open cluster NGC 6811 are still few. This study has made a contribution to the number of known faint d scuti stars in this cluster using Kepler and Gaia's second data Release (DR2).

Eine umfangreiche photometrische Studie des Haufens zur Bestimmung der Rötung, der Entfernung, des Alters und der Metallizität des Haufens wurde an Sternen mit einer Helligkeit 18 (helle Sterne) durchgeführt.
