The purpose of this dissertation is to survey the ICT centres for implementation of E-governance. As CICs are the only ICT infrastructures in our J&K state, I therefore first studied the concept of E governance followed by Information Communication Centres and Community information Centres. For survey purpose I selected Udhampur district of J&K state where I selected all CIC centres for survey. The CIC centres are located in all seven blocks in the district.
