Blessed is the story of Wood, a young man in his early 20's who grew up in the hood, and despite having loving and nurturing parents, found himself dealing drugs on the street corners. Wood is a well-known, and even respected member of the community. He thinks his life is just fine the way it is, despite its illegal and dangerous nature. One day, Wood finds himself fighting for his life after being gunned down in his own neighborhood over a drug related turf war.
