Hollis McCalister is a young boy who is going into high school. He is a computer geek and also is very shy. He has to deal with a bully all the time. He goes off to summer camp and then wanders off and thats where his adventure begins to save his best friend who has been captured by vampires who live their daily lives as indians. They are protected by a creature that is half baboon & half werewolf which they call wereboons. He has to learn how to over come his fears and train how to help free his best friend.
