The present investigation was undertaken to study management of black gram(Vigna mungo L. Hepper) anthracnose disease [Colletotrichum lindemuthianum (Sacc.& Magnus) Briosi & Cavara] which is quite destructive in all the black gram growing areas. The seed yield in protected plots with carbendazim 25% + mancozeb 50%WS over unprotected plots was 1162 kg/ha and avoidable yield loss of 48.19 percent. The fungicide carbendazim 25% + mancozeb 50% WS at 0.15 per cent has proved to be the most effective in controlling the disease in field condition for two seasons with higher yield. In correlation...
