In the present work, polyethylene oxide (PEO) doped with NaI and EMIm-TCM solid polymer electrolyte was prepared using the solution caste technique and characterized by various characterization tools. FT-IR and XRD measurements of highly conducting ILSPE showed the perfect complexation of IL with polymer. POM shows the reduction of crystallinity in polymer electrolytes by doping of ionic liquid which assists in the conductivity enhancement.
