In diesem Beitrag wird versucht, verschiedene Arten von Technologien zur Herstellung dünner Schichten im Allgemeinen zu skizzieren. Die technologischen Details der Herstellung von Dünnschichten mittels stromloser Verfahren werden ausführlich erörtert und ihre Grundsätze erläutert. Auch die analytischen Methoden zur Charakterisierung der abgeschiedenen Dünnschichten werden hier vorgestellt. In dieser Hinsicht ist diese Sammlung für Forscher, die an der Entwicklung von Dünnschichten für bestimmte Anwendungen interessiert sind, von großer Bedeutung.
