This book discusses the present situation and future perspectives of the experimental as well as theoretical investigations of light nuclei and their interactions with electromagnetic and hadronic probes, mainly at intermediate energies. It includes the following areas of research: interaction of mesons with nuclei, hypernuclear physics, electroweak interactions in nuclei, few-body systems, hadron dynamics in nuclei, and exotic atoms.
