With the development of endovascular therapies, conventional surgical treatment of sub-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms no longer appears to be the treatment of choice, especially for high-risk patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of conventional surgery in the treatment of sub-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms in high-risk patients, by comparing two groups of patients: those at high operative risk versus those at low risk.

Avec le développement des thérapeutiques endovasculaires, le traitement chirurgical conventionnel des anévrysmes de l'aorte abdominale sous rénale n'apparaît plus comme le traitement de référence surtout pour les patients à haut risque. L'objectif de ce travail était d'évaluer les résultats de la chirurgie conventionnelle dans le traitement des anévrysmes de l'aorte abdominale sous rénale chez les patients à haut risque en comparant deux groupes de malades : ceux à haut risque opératoire versus ceux à risque faible.

Mit der Entwicklung endovaskulärer Therapien wird die konventionelle chirurgische Behandlung von Aneurysmen der abdominalen Aorta unterhalb der Nieren nicht mehr als Standardbehandlung angesehen, insbesondere bei Hochrisikopatienten. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, die Ergebnisse der konventionellen Chirurgie bei der Behandlung von Aneurysmen der abdominalen Aorta unterhalb der Nieren bei Hochrisikopatienten zu bewerten.
