The present investigation carried out to study heterosis, combining ability and gene action in okra. The experimental material comprising 21 hybrids, their 7 parents and 2 checks were evaluated in RBD with two replications during late Summer 2016-17. Observations were recorded on 11 quantitative traits. The magnitude of heterosis over better parent and standard checks for most of the characters in present study were highly appreciable.
