This study of the work of Kama Sywor Kamanda seeks to shed light on the simultaneous construction of an author and his work. Through the diversity of the texts, we can try to understand the richness and complexity of the latter but also discover that the author man builds himself and grows through his writing. Each text then becomes a piece of mosaic and reveals its essence and its meaning only with regard to the work as a whole. The author grows and shapes himself by feeding on his work and this growth continues as long as the work of the writer continues.
