Dual-Input Matrix Converter (DIMC) design is proposed to integrate wind energy and solar photo-voltaic system to power a dc grid. The proposed DIMC is based on the traditional indirect matrix converter with additional switches in order to comprise more than one input. With this nine-switch configuration in the rectifier stage it's possible to integrate two independent sources into single power electronic interface.
