ECC and severe ECC are the most common cause of partial or complete loss of coronal tooth structure in primary dentition. The lesions can lead to total destruction of crowns and premature loss of deciduous teeth might lead to wide range of implications. Therefore, it is important to restore crowns of destroyed teeth by early childhood caries to preserve and promote the integrity of primary dentition, its exfoliation and eruption of permanent tooth.
