The book gives a brief overview on the various image processing techniques available for satellite image analysis. A novel framework is presented which overcomes the drawbacks associated with the traditional techniques. The traditional techniques are lacking in accuracy and the efficiency of the final outcome is affected due to the poor accuracy and ineffectiveness in classification. This is overcome by the modified techniques presented.
