The book is a small guide where the bases of nutritional assessment are briefly developed, taken as a process that allows identifying infants who need counseling, guidance or nutritional intervention, achieving through this, the adequacy of the modality of counseling and nutritional guidance needed in the infant, as well as identifying alterations in the nutritional status at different stages of childhood and giving recommendations on the different diseases that may occur in childhood for their basic nutritional care.
