The populations of Uca spp. in two areas associated with an anthropogenic modification in the mangrove swamp of Punta de Palmas, Zulia state, Venezuela. For this, 2 transects of 60 m were established in two areas of the mangrove divided by the breakwater in three sampling points, the organisms were collected by means of nucleators and by means of capture per unit of effort (CPUE), while measuring the temperature and salinity of the water, the granulometry and organic matter of the sediments.
