I don't know what life in the new heavens and the new earth will look like, but I am convinced that the more we can see into that future, the better we will live this life. Jesus saw into that future much more clearly than any of us, and what He saw enabled Him to endure the harshest treatment and death while resisting the temptation to call on the angels to help Him abandon the cross. He saw that His reward would be more than worth what He was suffering. The light of such vision helps us to see clearly so that we can make better choices as we travel through this life. Eternity is the end...
