Jan awakes in the hospital and knows that she is alive. She has no memory of the past, and no knowledge of who she is. She knows she is hurt, unable to see. Whatever happened it has almost cost her her life. Rob comes to visit and seems to know more about her and her condition than he will tell her. There seems to be something familiar about his voice but Jan is not willing to trust anyone yet. Later she receives another visitor. Quietly, and slowly he moves across the room in silence.
