We have developed a statistical analysis model for a gas detection system using a pulsed laser source and photo-detector, and then simplified the statistical analysis model to obtain the results efficiently. In this book our statistical analysis model is used for a generic mid-IR pulsed-laser gas detection system to predict trace gas detection and concentration estimation.
